Baseball

If there is one thing in the spring and summer that will put a smile on my face, it is the sound of a baseball hitting the baseball bat. I never played softball...until I played intramural softball in college, but really, all I amounted to was a body on the field...but watching baseball (especially live, not on TV) just makes this girl's heart happy.

One of my random bucket list items is to go to as many MLB stadiums as I can go to...So far I've only crossed off three (not counting a trip to Turner Field in Atlanta when I was little) but of the three I've been to, two of them for sure are incredible places because of the history they both carry...

Wrigley Field--Home of the Chicago Cubs

U.S. Cellular Field--Home of the Chicago White Sox

and my favorite...Fenway Park--Home of the Boston Red Sox!

But tonight, I'll get to listen to the crack of the bat and ball as I watch my favorite nephew play in his first championship game at my sweet little town's baseball fields. I think it is so fun that he's learning to love the game like I do!

Let's go Rays!

Oh...that is so sweet. You write like Dad. What a great gift! I surely didn't get that talent. Brought a few tears to my eyes. Thanks for loving my boy and supporting him and his games. Love you sister!
