I'm not what you would call super thrifty (my mom's laughing outloud even as I type that, I just know it.) but there are certain things I just won't let myself even consider buying with my own money now that I am out on my own. I just always think "I should spend that on my USAA bill, or rent is due in the next few days, or hey, I need groceries." So, even though I have super wanted one for the last several years, I just haven't let myself purchase one. Therefore, this new precious little friend is courtesy of Jacks and Andrea and my Target Donkey-Turtle Gift Card that they gave me for my birthday. AND, the best part? I still have money left over to spend on another fun something or other. Thank you ladies! Anytime you need hot water, let me know. I'm your kid.

My heart has been stolen...
By this preciously awesome little green tea kettle.
I've been dying to have one of these for some ridiculous reason for the last like, two years (give or take a little) so, while I was at Target tonight, I bought it.

In other news, this little guy, who was a present from Arley, is helping me save money to go to Boston this summer. And, I'm proud to say, he already has money in him. :) Keep saving little fella. Keep saving.

YES! Keep saving for Boston!
YAY!!! I am so glad you bought that with the card! Seriously, on my way to Target, I called Arley to see if you had gotten a tea pot yet because thats what I wanted to get you but she said you already had one! So I'm glad thats what you ended up getting with it!
Oooh, I might need me one of those too! CUTE, KK, cute.
Annie B.
I want one of those tea pots so bad!!! I love it! Great b-day pick!
Love the color! It would match my kitchen PERFECTLY! I bought the black one off of Craigslist recently since it was a luxury that I couldn't justify. For $5 I'll live with the black.
Isn't it nice that you can clean the inside and KNOW that it's clean?
No more evaporating all the water out of a pot anymore - the whistle makes me smile every time. :)
